We have come to the end of a very exciting and eventful year. Thank you students, staff, and parents/ guardians for your dedication and contributions to the NTHS school community. We wish you all a relaxing summer and a happy Canada Day!  

Canada Day 

On July 1, Calgarians and visitors are invited to gather at locations across downtown to celebrate Canada Day. This year’s free and family-friendly celebration features an Indigenous spotlight and powwow, live music and will end with a fireworks show above Stampede Park. Other attractions throughout the day include the Cultural Carousel, performances, face painting, food trucks and more. https://www.calgary.ca/events/canada-day.html 

Report Card and Appeals 

Year-end report cards are available for viewing through your MyCBE account. If you have any questions regarding the marks in your child's report card, please contact the respective teacher by email or phone the main office. Teachers will be available for appeals on Monday, June 29 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM.  

Summer Office Closure 

As of 12:00 PM on June 30, the NTHS Office will be closed for the summer. The main office will reopen on August 26 at 8:30 AM. If you need to contact the office during the summer, you may send an email to northtrail@cbe.ab.ca  

First Day of School 

First day of classes will be staggered entry on Monday, August 31.

• Grade 10: Students are expected to arrive for the regular start time of 8:55 AM.
  • Students in the LEAD program and CSSI will also arrive at that time.
• Grades 11 and 12: are to arrive for 11:25 AM.

**Meeting location details will be updated closed to school start.

Fall Sports Team Tryouts 

Tryouts for some of our teams will begin prior to the first day of school.
