Diploma Exam Information 

Please keep an eye out for updates and information regarding diploma exams from now until June.  In our Nighthawk News, important information will be posted for diploma exams.  Some will be time sensitive.

Grade 11/12 Students - Diploma Exams  -- TIME SENSITIVE  --

If your child is taking a diploma course at CBe-Learn this semester, they have been informed by CBe-Learn that they will be writing their diploma exam at their home school, which is North Trail High School.   

ACTION ITEM:  Please ask your child to go into PASI and check the writing location for each course in which they are enrolled.  For their CBe-Learn diploma courses, it should say NTHS.  It is the student's responsibility to check their writing centre for each diploma course and to show up at the writing centre at the correct time and date. 

If something does not seem correct such as the writing centre for a CBe-Learn course not giving NTHS as the writing centre, please send your child to Ms. Green in the front office. 

PLEASE NOTE: If your student is taking a class through a non-CBE school, such as an online service provider, then they will be writing their diploma exam at that school's writing centre, NOT at North Trail. 

Reminders 

Summer School  

Students who are interested in taking summer school classes have until April 23 at 8am to fill out the Microsoft Form that was sent home via School Messenger. It has also been posted in the Student Services office, on D2L, and on Instagram.  

CTS Summer School 

The original deadline has actually passed, however, CBE is advertising that they have extended the deadline to May 8.  

Paws for a Cause

This weekend is your last opportunity to get on the list for Paws for a Cause, which will be hosted on April 30. If you would like to attend, please complete the Google Form to request the number of tickets you would like to reserve. The form closes on April 19 at midnight.

This weekend is your last opportunity to get on the list for Paws for a Cause, which will be hosted on April 30. If you would like to attend, please complete the Google Form to request the number of tickets you would like to reserve. The form closes on April 19 at midnight.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Calgary Humane Society. In addition to the auction, representatives from the Humane Society will be present with an information table to share resources about adoption, fostering, volunteering, and other Humane Society initiatives.

Tickets are $15 and include: 

  • A variety of “Snacks in Cups” prepared by our NTHS Culinary classes
