This is just a reminder that there will be no school on Monday or Friday, due to the Easter holiday. The weather over the weekend is supposed to be beautiful tomorrow then a little chillier for the rest of the weekend. For our NTHS Families that celebrate Easter, we wish you a Happy Easter! Calgary Motor Dealers Association Donation

The Calgary Motor Dealers Association Charitable Foundation has donated more than $125,000 worth of tools to all Mechanics and Auto Body programs in Calgary Board of Education and Calgary Catholic School Board schools. North Trail received a kit full of specialty items to support their program such as toolboxes, scan tools, coveralls, socket sets, welding supplies, and much more. The Calgary Motor Dealers’ Association also provided the CBE with 425 free tickets for students to attend the 2025 Auto & Truck Show.

Calgary Youth Science Fair Win

A HUGE congratulations go out to our North Trail 2025 Calgary Youth Science Fair (CYSF) competitors for this past weekend. They did an amazing job! Our participating students worked for months on their project and were grilled by multiple judges over the weekend. Please see the titles of their presentations below:

Congratulations to Our Schulich Award Winner - Jeff Khuu

Our very own Jeff Khuu has been awarded a Schulich Leader Scholarship through the University of Alberta. Schulich Leader Scholarships are Canada’s most coveted undergraduate STEM scholarships. Every high school in Canada can nominate one graduating student each year to apply for the scholarship and only one hundred students are selected. These scholarships are awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math program across Canada. Congrats, Jeff!

Activities in the Building

Empty Bowls

On Thursday, April 24, from 6-8pm, the Art Department will be hosting Empty Bowls, a heartfelt initiative to raise awareness about hunger and support our local food banks. During the evening, there will be a silent auction featuring beautiful, hand-painted bowls created with care and creativity by our art students. Every dollar raised from the sale of the bowls goes to the Calgary Food Bank.
