Rhythm and Release – Dance Showcase
Last Thursday, Rhythm and Release, the dance showcase and collaboration between Dance 15 students and the NTHS Dance Team, featured a sold-out show. The evening highlighted a wide range of styles, including K-Pop, contemporary dance, and Bollywood.
Thank you to our energetic audience for supporting our dancers. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Garden and all staff and students who contributed to the success of this event.
Wrestling Tournament Results
The North Trail Wrestling Team participated in a tournament this past weekend at Rundle College. As many team members are new to wrestling this year, this was an important milestone.
- Rookie Girls: 1st place overall
- Rookie Boys: 5th place
- Open Boys: 7th place
Congratulations to all athletes for their hard work and dedication.
Lunar New Year
Monday, February 17 marks Lunar New Year, a significant cultural celebration observed by many communities across Canada and around the world. Within CBE, our schools reflect a rich diversity of languages, traditions, and lived experiences, and this occasion provides an opportunity to continue fostering welcoming, caring, respectful, and safe learning environments for all.
Often referred to as the Spring Festival, Chinese New Year, Tết (Vietnamese communities), or Seollal (Korean communities), Lunar New Year holds deep cultural and historical significance for many Southeast Asian communities and Canadians. It is one of the most widely celebrated events globally.
We welcome the Year of the Horse through meaningful student, family, and community connections and conversations.
