Good Afternoon Families:

Welcome back! Students hit the ground running this week, as they worked to complete their courses. Remember that Monday will be a full day of classes. Later on in the week, students will be involved in credit recovery, reassessments, and diploma exams.

Exam Reminders 

Good luck to all students who will be writing exams in the upcoming weeks. Please find attached a document explaining some of the exam rules: Exam Reminders for Students. Reading through this document in advance will help prevent any last minute surprises. Credit Recovery 

Teachers will be sending emails to all parents of students who qualify for credit recovery. Those students who are engaged in credit recovery, on Tuesday, January 14 and Wednesday, January 15, will be required to sign in at the office before being sent to their designated classroom to work. Students completing credit recovery will be expected to arrive by 9:00am. 

Grad Photo Back Log 

Canada Post is still behind with the backlog of packages that need to be mailed, but families should have received an email, to the two email addresses that students entered at the time of their sign in, with online access codes. Please make sure students are checking those email addresses (and their junk folders) as the Grad photo emails will sometimes land there. 

Yearbooks 

Students who are interested in pre-ordering a yearbook can do so by going online at Jostens. Yearbooks cost $40. This year's yearbook will feature NTHS' first graduating class. Be sure to capture this part of our school's history. https://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A02188625 

MC Beauty/ Aesthetics Field Study 

This is a final call for anyone who is interested in attending the on-site field study to MC Beauty/Aesthetics College on Thursday, January 16! We’ve had a few students cancel, so there are still spots available! The cost is FREE as we will be taking the NTHS Bus, and the trip will run roughly from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Contact Ms. Lockyer for permission slips. Please fill out the Expression of Interest form:
