Athletics 

Volleyball season wrapped up last weekend with our Junior Boys Volleyball Team defeating Lord Beaverbrook School 3-1 to win the Division 3 Championship and earn North Trail its first pennant. Tryouts are in full swing for the basketball season, and teams will begin playing the week of December 2. Students have also begun practicing for wrestling. Into the Deep Robotics Competition: Friday, November 29 (1:00-6:30pm) 

On Friday, November 29, North Trail will be hosting its first Into the Deep Competitive Robotics Competition. Matches will run from 1:30pm-6:30pm. Our team has been working hard to design a robot, design merchandise (available at our school store), and create a fundraising campaign. This event is the first league match for our team this year, and there will be 18 schools and organizations from across NE Calgary competing. North Trail Winds Showcase: Wednesday December 4 ( 7pm) 

North Trail High School's Music Program is excited to once again host our music showcase with our feeder school band programs. This evening will feature band students from Nose Creek School, Captain Nichola Goddard School, and Valley Creek School, alongside our very own North Trail High School Concert Band. This event will be taking place in the gymnasium, with the purpose of celebrating the growth and community of music within our family of schools. Tickets are available through performers and are limited to two tickets per student performer due to gym capacity. Check with your music student to learn more about tickets for this event. 

Graduation Photos 

The website to book grad sessions is still open. Grad Sessions at North Trail will begin on November 28. The booking link is https://prestigeportraits.ca/ . There is no 8-digit code, students/parents can search by Province and City. Make your booking before time runs out. For those students who have already booked, remember to bring your change of outfit and props that you would like to use for the photos on the day of your appointment. 

Non-Instruction Day: No School

We will have a Non-Instruction Day on November 29, so there will be no school for students on Friday.
