Good Afternoon, Nighthawk Families
Today, October 2, is Custodian Appreciation Day. We are grateful for all of the work done by our custodial staff each day. They keep our school safe, operational, and clean.
October 5–9 is International Walk to School Week. With the wonderful fall weather we have been having, encourage your child to get outside and walk to school.
Activities in the Building
Junior Achievement at NTHS
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run your own business?
Through Junior Achievement's Company Program, high school students work together to develop an idea, create a product or service, and run a real company with support from volunteer business mentors.
It’s a chance to build skills in:
- Leadership
- Teamwork
- Marketing
- Finance
- Sales
Students will also have the opportunity to meet new people and try something new. No business experience is needed!
Best of all, NTHS is a venue for the program this year.
Please feel free to contact Ms. Francia at KeFrancia@cbe.ab.ca or Ms. Williamson at rrwilliamson@cbe.ab.ca if you have any questions.
Parking Pass Update
Attention student drivers!
Parking passes will be distributed by the end of the upcoming week, October 9. Students should check their school email to see if they have been assigned a parking pass.
If you received an email, please stop by the Business Office to pay the parking pass fee so your pass can be issued.
Parking passes will be issued during a mandatory meeting this week. More information about the date and time of the meeting will be provided in Trail Time.
Once parking passes have been distributed, only vehicles displaying a valid parking pass will be permitted to park in the student parking lot.
Students who do not receive a pass or have not completed the payment process should make alternate parking arrangements.
All parking passes must be clearly displayed in vehicles no later than Tuesday, October 13.
