Good Afternoon Families:

We hope that your students found the ELAA fair to be a eye opening experience, and it provided an opportunity for students to explore the many post-secondary institutions and options available in Alberta. Later in October, we will be having another post-secondary fair that will highlight institutions outside of Alberta. Here is some important information for the upcoming week.

OurSchool Survey Administration

On Wednesday, October 9, students will be completing the Our School Survey during their Trail Time block. The survey examines students' sense of wellbeing including their sense of community, peer relationships, health, and safety. All data is collected anonymously. The survey will take about 30 minutes to complete. Students will be using their personal devices to complete the survey. If students do not have a personal device, there will be Chrome Books available. Audio will also be enabled to allow students to have the questions read to them. We encourage students to bring their headphones to Trail Time if they believe that they would like to utilize this option. The use of headphones will help to minimize distractions within the learning environment. If students are absent, there will be an opportunity for students to complete it a later date. A separate email will be sent early next week with further details. In the interim, please note that there will be a change to the schedule to accommodate a longer Trail Time. This change will be reflected in Power School.
