The CBE is celebrating a significant achievement in sustainable school design with North Trail High School earning LEED Gold Certification from the Canada Green Building Council. North Trail High School integrates natural lighting and sustainable materials to promote a healthier, more productive learning environment. The eco-conscious design prioritizes energy efficiency and water conservation, reflecting CBE’s dedication to green building principles.
North Trail’s certification is part of CBE’s broader sustainability efforts, with 46 schools now earning LEED status—22 at silver and 24 at gold.
This month, North Trail High School was recognized alongside Bayside School (Silver certification) and Prairie Sky School (Gold certification) who have also earned top sustainability certifications from the Canada Green Building Council.
